Flashy Fall Dichroic Glass Dangle Earrings by Jo Perez
Enjoy flashy, dappled fall rainbow colors with bursts of gold in these abstract one-of-a-kind earrings! These are beautiful dichroic glass earrings! These little drop earrings will dangle from your ears with a softly mottled pattern of festive colors! Little bits of copper, gold, black and teal green and hints of violet are embedded in a satiny cloud of beauty. They will sparkle and shine with every turn of the head. These fully kiln-fired earrings have a slightly crescent/kidney shape that makes then so unique.
Measuring 1.75 inches long, including the wires, these earrings have a solid black base on to which many tiny bits of brightly colored dichroic glass were layered and fused. The earrings are mounted on gold plated bails and have good quality gold filled ear wires. The ear wires are embellished with tiny decorative beads. Tiny soft hypoallergenic ear wire grips are included so the earrings will not slip out.
These pretty earrings will go with almost any outfit, making them very versatile.

FAQ: Dichroic glass was first developed by NASA as part of their satellite mirrors. The exceptionally thin coatings are applied to glass in very controlled environments. Di- chroic means two colors and this glass reflects/transmits different colors depending on the angle of light. When it is worn with different colors, it can pick up and reflect some of those colors so it really enhances the total look. I call this the "mood" of the glass.
