Dove in the Window 9.5" Stained Glass Quilt Square w Chicago Art Glass
This is a 9.5 inch handmade stained glass window hanging that showcases a variety of brilliantly colored and textured stained glass, including iridized and glue chip glass. The Appalachian quilt pattern this panel represents is called "Dove in the Window".
The center piece of orange glass is a rare piece of Chicago Art Glass!
Tiffany's copper foil technique was used to join the glass and the solder has a copper patina. The metal frame is copper plated.
Photographing glass is very difficult and the character of the glass will change with the light and the landscape behind it. Therefore, these photos are the best representation of color that could be achieved with natural lighting. Metal loops are attached to the top for hanging.
