This is a 6.5 inch handmade stained glass window hanging that showcases a variety of softly colored opalescent and clear stained glass. The Appalachian quilt pattern this panel represents is called "Double Pinwheel".
Tiffany's copper foil technique was used to join the glass and the solder has a copper patina. The metal frame is copper plated.
Photographing glass is very difficult and the character of the glass will change with the light and the landscape behind it. Therefore, these photos are the best representation of color that could be achieved with natural lighting. Metal loops are attached to the top for hanging. Copper Jack Hanging chain is included.
