Dichroic Glass Green/Copper Earrings
Here are some pretty handmade dichroic glass earrings! Colors shift from a dark copper, purple to green. When the lighting changes, the colors shift! These are very light weight earrings for pierced ears.
The cabochons hang from good quality, gold filled ear wires. These earrings measure 1.5" from the top of the ear wires to the bottom of the glass.
FAQ Dichroic glass was first developed by NASA as part of their satellite mirrors. The exceptionally thin coatings are applied to glass in very controlled environments. Di-chroic means two colors and this glass reflects/transmits different colors depending on the angle of light. When it is worn with different colors, it can pick up and reflect some of those colors so it really enhances the total look.
